Support Engineer

Job description:

Software and operation system end-user support



  • Provide (in flexible time) end-user support on the phone and in person by addressing all supported system’s related questions
  • Identify, prioritize, and escalate support tickets requiring urgent attention
  • Perform problem analysis to identify support call trends and problem areas
  • Create articles for the knowledge base and FAQ to ensure common issues and configurations are well documented and available to employees to help facilitate self-service
  • Responsible for onboarding new employees in the area of providing equipment and logins and orienting employees to the environment and co-operation with HR department


  • 2 or more years of relevant work experience in IT support
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience on the same or similar position (required)
  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure
  • Knowledge of SQL syntax and relational database fundamentals
  • Being familiar with Microsoft Windows operation system
  • Being familiar with Microsoft Office package
  • Well organized, a strong communicator, and driven to succeed
  • Flexible in solving tasks
  • Demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors and customers
  • Being familiar with ticketing systems
  • Full professional proficiency in English


  • Being familiar with Agile approach (Kanban)
  • Knowledge of core OS services such as: AD, SSH, FTP, DNS, DHCP, Samba, LDAP
